A domain name registrar is an organization or commercial entity that manages the reservation of Internet domain names. A domain name registrar must be accredited by a generic top-level domain (gTLD) registry and/or a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) registry. The management is done in accordance with the guidelines of the designated domain name registries.
Complete the following steps with your current registrar1.Verify contact information: Verify that the administrator's contact information for the domain is correct. All emails regarding the transfer will go to the administrator's email. For .au domains, all transfer information is sent to the registrant contact's email.2.Unlock the domain name.3.Cancel Protected or Private registration: If the domain has Protected Registration or Private Registration, you'll need to cancel it.4.Get an authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar.
Use your domain for a custom email address. If you register a domain like bacheloretteparties.com, you can set up a personalized email address such as YourName@ bacheloretteparties.com.
Create a website that's attached to your domain.
1. Hire a professional website designer
2. Do it yourself with a content management system (CMS) .
3. Do it yourself with a template-based site builder.
**If domain and hosting is both registered with us just is automatic to connect.**
When your domain name is registered, you need to connect it to your hosting server.
1.You have a hosting plan elsewhere and you were provided with the nameservers for your domain.
2. You have your own server or you were provided with a set of host records to connect the domain to your hosting.
According to the regulations introduced by Internet Corporation of Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) starting from January 1, 2014, we are sending Whois verification emails. Whois verification will only be needed for the Registrant contact information for generic TLDs (gTLDs) in the following cases:
-for new registrations.
-for registrant contact information changes on existing domains.
When a new domain is registered, we will immediately send an email to the Registrant email address specified for the domain. The verification email will be also sent if an edit is made to either of the following Registrant contact fields:
-Registrant First Name or Last Name
-Registrant Email Address
